Steve is a qualified PADI Staff Instructor and MSDT, and will advise in, teach and take you through each step of your chosen course at a pace that suits you. Diving is fun and we want you to enjoy every moment. Steve's first experience of scuba diving began in a hotel pool on the beautiful Greek island of Zante. Like all avid divers before him, one try dive was the start of an underwater adventure for life. The ladder to Staff Instructor level has taken him to many locations including Tenerife, Cyprus, Gozo, Thailand, Red Sea, Croatia & Indonesia.  Steve also does a lot of UK diving making his total diving experiences a knowledge to be passed on to students. Steve has taught many people to dive, sharing his passion for the underwater world.

Linda, married to Steve, is on hand to answer any questions you have, take your calls, book your dives and plan the events and trips for the members each month. She will also send out the monthly newsletters and see that all relevant paperwork is completed prior to any course being started. She is fully trained in EFR and holds a power boat 2 certificate. She runs the dive centre 6 days a week at Buckland Lake.

Janet had planned a trip to Hawaii in 2004 having decided to take the plunge and learn to scuba dive. However nerves and seasickness took over and so she returned to the UK and completed her course. In August 2005 she met Polaris at Chatham Docks and in her own words "hasn't looked back since". Janet continued her diving education with us and in February 2009 she became a qualified Open Water Scuba Instructor. She has dived in many places including Cyprus, Croatia, The Red Sea & Indonesia along with many UK sites. She has over 200 logged dives, has the patience of a saint and is loved by all who meet her. We are proud to have her in the team.

ronRon is a PADI Staff Instructor and he has been with us for alomost a year. He is a lovely guy and is always smiling, he gets on well with everyone and is a big hit with students.

JEZ is a PADI Divemaster and first tried scuba in Australia in 1998. He was meant to be on a snorkelling trip but was persuaded to try scuba instead. He still remembers that first sight of the reef as he descended into the blue. He completed his Open Water course in 2003 and has been a DM since 2006. Jez has dived all over the world including Spain, Grenada, Corsica, Red Sea, Maldives, Grand Cayman & Indonesia and he has logged 200 dives. He recently upgraded his status to be qualified to teach new students in Discover Scuba Diving experiences. He is a great guy with a good sense of humour with lots of time and patience for new divers.

PAUL is a qualified PADI Divemaster and has been with us for 18 months. He came to us as a Rescue diver and recently completed his Divemaster course.
He is the joker of the pack and is extremely easy to get on with and has a good relationship with the other team members here at Buckland. He is very friendly and welcoming to all divers and students.
Paul began diving in 2001 after seeing scuba diving being done at Chatham Dockyard, this caught his interest and so he signed up for his Open Water course.
Since then he has dived in Egypt, Malaysia, Scapa Flow, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Tunisia and many UK sites.
He has logged over 260 dives and has experience in dry suit diving and nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift & Wreck diving.
Paul can often be found at the pool with us on Monday evenings and also at the dive centre at weekends.
His aim is to move on to completing his Instructor couse at some time.
